Rx. Ephedrae Ma Huang 3-10g Disseminates and facilitates Lung Qi, calms wheezing, stops coughing, promotes urination, reduces edema and arms and disperses Cold pathogens.
With Gui Zhi, dispels Cold, arrests wheezing and moves water.
With Xing Ren, for Wind-Cold coughing and wheezing.
With Xing Ren and Hou Po, for wheezing and dyspnea due to Qi and Phlegm Stagnation.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 3-15g Unblocks Yang, transforms Qi and thin mucus and warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels.
With Ma Huang, for Wind-Cold Excess conditions with fever and chills but no sweat.
With Zhi Gan Cao, for palpitations and shortness of breath due to injured Yang of the chest.
Sm. Sinapis Bai Jie Zi 3-15g Warms the Lungs, regulates Qi and expels Phlegm.
With Xi Xin and Gan Jiang, dissolves congested FluidSs.
Hb. cum Rx. Asari Xi Xin 0.5-5g Disperses Wind-Cold and Internal Cold and alleviates pain.
With Ma Huang, alleviates cough and wheezing due to Phlegm caused by Wind-Cold.
Rz. Zingiberis Gan Jiang 3-10g Warms the Lungs and transforms thin mucus.
With Wu Wei Zi, Xi Xin and Ma Huang, for coughing and wheezing due to Cold congested Fluids blocking the descent of Lung Qi.
With Hou Po, for epigastric distention and pain due to Cold-induced congested fluids.

Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi 3-9g Tonifies Qi, astringes the leakage of Lung Qi and stops coughing.
With Xi Xin, regulates the opening and closing of the Lungs, alleviating coughing and calming wheezing for patients with existing thin mucus who are exposed to Wind-Cold leading to acute wheezing and coughing of clear thin sputum.
